29. Rou Jia Mo
This involves cooking cubed pork belly for a couple of hours in water with ginger, spring onion, star anise, cinnamon, soy and rice wine. It is served in a toasted English muffin with strips of green pepper. Really tender with the pepper giving the sandwich an added texture and crunch. Actually, really nice but a bit of an effort for a quick sandwich. 6/10
Having purchased the book '101 Sandwiches' - Classic recipes from around the World. I am week by week, working my way through the book and will blog each sandwich as it is consumed. I would love to know about your favourite sandwich ideas/recipes. Send me a tweet @YT40

28. Veal Schnitzel Sandwich
28. Veal Schnitzel Sandwich
Well who doesn't like Veal Schnitzel? I know, I know, all vegetarians! Well to me it's comfort food and easy to eat, I just, having tried it, don't believe it belongs in a sandwich. It should be served with chips and peas. The Dijon mustard lifted it, but it cam across as slightly bland. 5/10

27. Club sandwich
27. Club sandwich
I've never really seen the point of the Club sandwich and when I've had them in the past, they've been alright but nothing exceptional. What ended up here was the sandwich that I've been most pleased with so far. It looked great, stayed together and actually tasted really good. I used leftover Christmas turkey rather than chicken. The mustard and mayo come through and the avocado works really nicely with crispy bacon. An unexpected delight. 9/10
